“Sunny Paris Yogurt Marinated Chicken Leg Quarters”

Do you love Greek yogurt? Have you ever thought to use Greek yogurt in a marinade? Well here’s a recipe for you and believe me you’re gonna wonder why not? Sunny Paris Yogurt Marinated Chicken Leg Quarters is so tender, flavorful and delicious, my mouth is watering just writing this post for you. This recipe is a must try and sure to become a family favorite. I think it will wow your most finicky dinner guest. Chicken lovers, rejoice! It’s a favorite in my house.

First, you must use whole fat Greek yogurt because 0% and 2% fat Greek yogurts become watery in addition not having the depth of flavors this recipe should have. I’ve tested and retested this recipe to find the right flavor profile so here you have it. The marinade is thick and coats the chicken well as you can see in the picture below. Second, place chicken in refrigerator to marinate overnight. This allows your chicken to harbor all the delicious flavors happening in your bowl. Third, this is an easy recipe for a fantastic weeknight meal because you marinate chicken and then bake or grill the next day. How easy is that?

Another secret to this recipe is one of the ingredients, Sunny Paris Seasoning. If you follow my blog you know I love Penzeys Spices. Penzeys makes Sunny Paris and it works wonderfully in any marinade. Sunny Paris also makes a great additive to homemade salad dressings. I love it sprinkled on roasted vegetables and baked potatoes. Need a quick party dip, mix Sunny Paris with Greek yogurt or sour cream.

Serve this tender succulent chicken with your favorite vegetable sides or salad. Beautifully delicate flavor and golden brown crust on the chicken will not overpower whatever you choose to serve. Try Sunny Paris Yogurt Marinated Chicken Leg Quarters cooked on the grill. Grilling gives this recipe another depth of flavor. What am I thinking? Who doesn’t love barbecue? I’m talking slap your mama good. Nothing like easy and good, right? Is your mouth watering yet? I hope so, therefore go ahead and dig that chicken out of the freezer or run to your local market. Chicken is coming to dinner this week. Enjoy!
